Shopify Integration (beta)

How to track your Shopify conversions with AnyTrack
Shopify Anytrack integration

How the Shopify integration works

When the AnyTrack TAG is on your Shopify store, it will track the visitors actions taken across the site and at the end of the customer journey, it will fire the conversion data to the AnyTrack API, which will allow you to send the sales data to the various pixels you've added to your property.

Use cases

  • Attribution challenges

  • Working with marketing partners

  • Working with traffic sources that do not support standard pixels

Before you begin

In AnyTrack

  1. Add a new property

  2. Name and URL

  3. Connect Google Analytics and FB Pixel

  4. Copy (ctrl+c) the AnyTrack TAG in your clipboard.

In Shopify

  1. Edit your theme

  2. Open the theme.liquid template

  3. Paste the Anytrack Tag as high as possible in the <head> section of the page.

    1. You can add the Tag in your Google Tag Manager

  4. 💾Save the theme.liquid template.

Google Tag Manager - If you prefer, you can add the TAG in your Google Tag Manager. In which case you must follow the instructions provided by Shopify.

👉This is how looks the AnyTrack Tag in your theme.liquid head section

<!doctype html>
<!--[if IE 9]> <html class="ie9 no-js" lang="{{ shop.locale }}"> <![endif]-->
<!--[if (gt IE 9)|!(IE)]><!--> <html class="no-js" lang="{{ shop.locale }}"> <!--<![endif]-->
<head>
<!-- AnyTrack Tracking Code -->
<script>
!function(e,s,t){(t=e.createElement(s)).async=!0,
t.src="https://assets.anytrack.io/UEyTy8VUQX7L.js",
(e=e.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]).parentNode
.insertBefore(t,e)}(document,"script");
</script>
<!-- End AnyTrack Tracking Code -->
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge,chrome=1">
